For music schools
Music school software, built for the arts.
Scheduling, online booking, tuition, and payments — for the private lessons, graded classes, and recitals a music school runs on. Built by working artists, so the software fits the way a studio actually teaches, not the way a gym takes bookings.
01 / Lessons & scheduling
Private lessons, on a schedule that runs itself.
A music school lives in the weekly lesson slot. Atelier Studio™ schedules recurring private lessons per teacher and per room, alongside group classes and ensembles — set your studio hours, teacher availability, and holidays once, and the calendar takes it from there.
- Recurring weekly private lessons — publicly bookable or invite-only
- Instructor-private session notes on every lesson
- Group classes, ensembles, and privates in one calendar
- Atelier Encore™ — intelligent seat-filling invites the students who'd want a last-minute open spot
- Waitlists, cancellations, and substitute teachers handled automatically
02 / Booking
A booking widget that lives on your existing site.
Don't rebuild your website to take enrollments. Atelier Studio™ ships a copy-and-paste music lesson booking widget that drops into any site you already have — anywhere you can paste a script tag. Your existing design stays; the widget handles lesson and class lists, sign-ups, and waitlists — a complete music school booking system on the site you already have.
- One-line install — a single
<script>tag - Works on static HTML, Squarespace, Wix, WordPress, or anywhere else scripts run
- Inherits your typography and brand colors
- Mobile-first by default
03 / Tuition & billing
Tuition and payments, without the markup.
Music school margins are thin — your software shouldn't take more than its share. Atelier Studio™ is a complete payment system for the school: recurring tuition on autopay, lesson packs and memberships, and family billing that keeps every student in a household on one account.
Card, debit, and ACH payments run through Stripe. On Community it's a tiny 0.1% per transaction, capped at $1 (max $100 a month); Academy is 0.75% per transaction, capped at $2 — and never more than $250 in a calendar month — lower than other music school software, and the money lands in your Stripe account, never ours. Your rate is locked in the day you join.
- Recurring tuition & autopay
- Lesson-pack and membership sales
- Family & household billing on one account
- Semester & term tuition (Academy)
- PCI-secure card, debit, and ACH via Stripe — paid into your own account
04 / Levels & progression
Every student, on the right grade.
No art is graded as clearly as music — book to book, grade to grade, the year a student is finally ready for the next exam. Atelier Studio™ makes that progression part of the schedule, not a note in a binder: a level on every class and lesson, a grade on every student, and the two working hand in hand.
- Class levels & student grades: the right classes and lessons surface for the right students, automatically
- Level-gated placements: hold an ensemble, an audition track, or an exam-prep block to the students who are ready — a student below the line requests placement, and you approve
- Your own syllabus: build your grades, or mirror an established standard like the Suzuki Method, RCM, or ABRSM with your own levels
Included on every plan.

Assessments — Academy
Jury day, on the record.
Juries, graded exams, the semester a student earns the next level — the structured side of a music school runs on evaluation. On the Academy plan, Atelier Studio™ puts a real panel in the room and keeps the score.
- Juried panels: several adjudicators score the same performance — end-of-term juries, graded exams, competition rounds
- Rubrics you build: score against your own criteria and keep every mark on record for level advancement
- Shared practice logs: daily practice notes that move between teacher, student, and parents across the studio and customer portals
Included on the Academy plan, and inherited by Network.
Atelier Studio™ was built for the arts, not for gyms. And no art runs on a clearer ladder than music — grade by grade, jury by jury, week by week. The levels, the juries, the shared practice logs: I built them for exactly the way a music school teaches.
Craig — Co-founder & CEO, the artist who built the platform
Built for every kind of music school
Piano, strings, guitar, voice, everything in between.
The mechanics of running a school are the same whether you teach Suzuki violin or rock-band ensemble. Atelier Studio™ doesn't make you choose an instrument.

Common questions
Music school software FAQ
Is Atelier Studio™ suitable for independent teachers and small music schools?
Yes. We built it for schools of every size — from a single teacher running weekly private lessons out of a spare room, to a multi-room conservatory with faculty, ensembles, and graded exams. Pricing scales with you, with no extra fees per location, per teacher, or per student.
Can I embed the music lesson booking widget on my existing site?
Yes. The booking widget is a single <script> tag you paste into any existing site — static HTML, Squarespace, Wix, WordPress, anywhere a script runs. Your existing design stays; the widget inherits your typography and brand colors.
Does Atelier Studio™ handle weekly private lessons and recurring schedules?
Yes. Schedule recurring weekly private lessons per teacher and per room — publicly bookable or invite-only — alongside group classes and ensembles in one calendar. Each private lesson keeps instructor-private session notes, and the platform handles waitlists, cancellations, and substitute teachers automatically.
Is Atelier Studio™ a complete music school billing system?
Yes. Beyond taking payments, it runs the billing a school actually needs: recurring tuition on autopay, lesson packs and memberships, and family billing across multiple students. Committed-term and semester tuition is available on the Academy plan. One system for enrollment, scheduling, and the money — not a booking tool bolted onto a separate biller.
How much does music school payment processing cost?
It depends on your plan. Community is 0.1% per transaction, capped at $1 (and never more than $100 in a calendar month); Academy is 0.75% per transaction, capped at $2 — and never more than $250 in a calendar month — on top of Stripe's standard card rate, and lower than most music school software. Payments go straight into your own Stripe account; we never hold your money. The rate you start on is grandfathered — locked for the life of your subscription.
Can I run graded levels, juries, and placement for my students?
Yes. Give every class and lesson a level and every student their grade, then gate a class — an audition track, an ensemble, an exam-prep block — to the students who are ready. A student below the line can request placement, and you approve before they enroll. On the Academy plan, run juried performance exams with a panel and a rubric, and keep shared practice logs moving between teacher, student, and parents.
Can I model a syllabus like the Suzuki Method, RCM, or ABRSM?
Yes. Build your own level system as simple or as detailed as you teach, or mirror an established standard — the Suzuki Method, RCM (Royal Conservatory of Music), ABRSM, and similar graded syllabi are examples you can model with your own custom levels. They're configurable examples, not integrations, partnerships, or certifications.
